All the visiting specialists conducting their clinics at Central Brisbane Dermatology are fully-trained and registered, and are experts in the treatment of all disorders of the skin, hair and nails – particularly in the assessment of moles and skin cancers. All the specialists are Fellows of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and active participants in the Continuing Professional Development Programs of the College.
All visiting specialists provide high quality, personalised service covering a wide range of dermatological therapies. These include all general medical and surgical dermatology, laser treatments and photorejuvenation, biologic therapies, hidradenitis suppurativa therapies, allergy patch testing, sclerotherapy of leg veins, phototherapy and of course mole and skin cancer assessments and treatments. We are also very experienced in the use of Imiquimod cream, and Metvix Photodynamic therapy for the non-surgical treatment of cancers when appropriate. We have particular expertise in the highly specialised area of allergy patch testing for the investigation of allergic contact dermatitis.
We are highly experienced in phase 1 through to phase 4 clinical research trials and on occasions have access to “first-in-man” or “first-in-disease” therapeutic opportunities for cancer or inflammatory dermatoses.
